We recently stayed at Aan De Vliet for a few days and had an amazing time. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help us out, even in the rain. The well-maintained garden and proximity to the river created a beautiful setting. Although we couldn't enjoy the swimming pool and play areas due to the weather, they looked fantastic. The staff were helpful and highly professional, demonstrating their integrity by not accepting tips left in the room. The location of the hotel was ideal, making it easy to explore attractions like Kruger Park and the Panorama Route. Special mention to Ashley at the front desk for being an exceptional host and arranging our activities. Aan De Vliet is a wonderful hotel for both couples and families.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The location of the resort is excellent, just a short drive away from popular attractions such as the Kruger National Park and the Panorama route. The beautiful Sabie River flows next to the lodge, providing a chance to see hippos. The chalets are clean and well-equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils. The staff at the reception are friendly and make the check-in process quick and smooth.

The cottages at Aan De Vliet Holiday Resort are cozy and comfortable, with a desk where you can relax and work if needed. As someone who loves to be in touch with nature, I really enjoyed the shared BBQ area where I could have a traditional braai right in my accommodation unit. It was such a unique and enjoyable experience!
Although I loved the shared BBQ area, I personally found that the bathroom with only a shower in the cottages was a bit small. However, I understand that others may still find it convenient and enjoyable.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of the hotel. The beautiful furnishings and cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home. The general areas, such as the gardens and the pool, were meticulously maintained and created a peaceful environment for relaxation. As a senior person, I also appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The pathways were well-maintained and easy to navigate, allowing me to move around the resort comfortably.
I would have preferred more assistance from the staff during my stay. As a senior woman, I expected a little more attention and support from the children working there.

We were pleasantly surprised by our two-night stay at a resort in a quiet location near Kruger. The pool and facilities were perfect for our needs, and the beautiful surroundings made for a great getaway. We also appreciated the convenient location, allowing us to explore nearby attractions easily. we had a lovely time and would consider staying here again.
We did encounter some minor inconveniences. The bed was uncomfortable and caused backaches, and the strong smell of floor polish was not pleasant for our sinus.

The gardens at the resort were absolutely stunning, with vibrant flowers and lush greenery that left me in awe. The playground was a hit with my daughter, who had a blast running around and exploring the spacious area. Being close to Kruger National Park was a major plus for us, as we were able to easily access the park and enjoy the wildlife. The room was LOVELY, and the breakfast provided was delicious. Despite arriving late at night, the staff were readily available to check us in. The roundhouse with its thatch roof was simply jaw-dropping, and the peaceful sound of the stream outside was incredibly soothing. We couldn't resist watching our kids play in the swimming pool while we soaked in the beautiful view and listened to the relaxing river sound. The reception staff was extremely friendly and even assisted us in the rain when the gate was stuck. I could tell that the garden was well-maintained and the proximity to the river added to the enchanting atmosphere. Although we couldn't make use of all the facilities due to bad weather, the swimming pool and play area looked inviting. Thank you to the management and staff for making our stay wonderful and relaxing!

The location was great, with beautiful views of the surrounding area and a peaceful atmosphere. The outside areas of the hotel were pleasant and well-maintained.
There were several things that needed improvement. The hotel was in need of some rehab, with paint jobs and other small fixes required.

The cottages at Aan De Vliet Holiday Resort are cozy and comfortable, with a desk and a sofa for relaxing. I loved the bathroom with a refreshing shower after exploring the area. Plus, the shared BBQ area was perfect for enjoying a traditional braai!
Personally, I found it a bit inconvenient that the kitchen in the bungalows only had a stovetop and a refrigerator. But hey, some people might still enjoy the simplicity and make the most of it!

loved the swimming pool and play area for kids. Our bungalow had everything we needed and the aircon was a lifesaver in the heat. The little shop came in handy too. Will definitely return.
Beds in the kitchen were weird.
